Ronald Harry Zellman, of Conowingo, MD, passed away on March 4, 2024. He was 75 years old.
Mr. Zellman was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to John Henry Zellman and Ada Mae Hall Zellman. He was the husband of the late Peggy Elaine Zellman whom he loved and adored, father of John Oliver Zellman (Marianne), and Christy Zellman (Felix A. Rivera "Tony"), and grandfather of Michael Maresca (Elizabeth), Bryce Zellman, Damon George, Cheyenne George, Aidan Zellman, and Torrens Cortes, and great-grandfather of Griffin Maresca and Quinn Maresca. He was the brother of Ada Ruth Brooks, Charles "Raymond" Zellman (Irene), Virginia "Ginny" Hawley, and Fred Zellman (Donna), and the late William Hall, Lloyd Hall, Walter Hall, Donald Livering, Leonard "Clarence" Zellman, Viola "Olie" Bryant, John Henry Zellman, Jr., Thomas Zellman, and Margaret "Marge" Davis.
Mr. Zellman served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He retired from Amtrak after many years of service. Ron loved watching his kids and grandkids play sports, coaching, and umpiring baseball. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball. Ron enjoyed raising beagles and rabbit hunting, hunting, fishing, farming, raising cattle, and going for long rides in the country checking out farms. Ron was also great with woodworking. He truly loved his family and always liked to keep in touch with them.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 4-7 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11 AM. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
