Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Louise Krass, 80, of Aberdeen, Maryland, who left this world peacefully on November 1, 2026. Born on June 20, 1946, in Havre De Grace, Maryland, Sandra embodied warmth and compassion in all aspects of her life, touching the hearts of those around her.

For over 40 years, Sandra owned and operated Sandy's Shear Magic, a cherished establishment in Aberdeen where she used her remarkable talents in cosmetology to bring joy and beauty to her clients. Her warm smile and nurturing spirit made everyone feel welcomed and valued, and she deeply cherished the relationships she built throughout her career.

Sandra was not just dedicated to her work; she was also a passionate supporter of her favorite teams, the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. Her unwavering loyalty to her teams mirrored her loyalty to her family and friends. A devoted member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, she cherished her faith and was actively involved in her community, having previously contributed her time to the Aberdeen Lions and Lioness Club.

Sandra's love for animals was well-known among her family and friends, reflecting her gentle and caring nature. She is survived by her beloved son, Jonathan Alexander Krass (Tina), and her loving daughter, Andrea Louise Travers (Shannon). She was a proud grandmother to Nicole Marie Travers, Alexander Joseph Krass (Nate), and Abigail Rose Krass, and was overjoyed to be a great-grandmother to Logan Nicholas Kinsey, Paige Elizabeth Kinsey, and Jaxon Oren Kinsey. Sandra will also be lovingly remembered by her sister, Norma Lee Hubard. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Krass, III, father Alexander Evans Beall, mother, Margaret Louise Bailey Beall, daughter, Alison Marie Krass, and brother Charles Evans Beall.

Funeral services will be held on a later date.

Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Rest in peace, dear Sandra. You have left an indelible mark on our lives, and your spirit will continue to shine brightly in our memories.
