Shirley Ann "Kit" Mitchell, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 20, 2021. She was 84.
Mrs. Mitchell was born in Delaware to George Marchant and Dorothy Stierle Marchant. She was the devoted wife of 65 years to R. Madison Mitchell, Jr., loving mother of Robert Madison Mitchell, III, (Ruth), Deborah "Debbie" Mitchell Brown (Ty), and Barbara Mitchell Hiob (Michael). She was the adored grandmother of Elizabeth Johnson (Tyler), R. Madison Mitchell, IV, Tyler Brown (Janelle), Corey Brown (Ashley), Adam Hiob and Hannah Hiob (Hunter), and great-grandmother of Brayden Johnson and Rory Johnson. She was predeceased by her siblings.
Mrs. Mitchell loved being with her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, fishing, boating, and shopping.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 2-4 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be private.
