Shirley Mae Taylor, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on February 24, 2017. She was 76.
Ms. Taylor was born in Oxford, PA, Albert Lee Crouse and Edna Eller Crouse. She was the loving mother of James Frederick Wood and his wife Sharon of Forest Hill, MD, Mary Veazey of Elkton, MD, Kathy Disbrow and her husband David, of Aberdeen, MD, and Patricia Wood and her companion Tom Brown of Havre de Grace, MD. Ms. Taylor was the grandmother of John, Dan and Sara Wood, Anthony "Tony" Martin, David Disbrow, Stephanie Morris, Thomas Edward Brown, Jr., Adam Brown, Timothy Brown, and the late Tina Marie Brown, and great-grandmother of David Martin, Anastacia Martin, Aiden Martin Alyssa Martin, Tyler Wood, Seth Wood, Charlotte Wood, Benjamin "Cole" Disbrow, Abby Disbrow, Mason Harvey, Talon Brown, Brook-Lynn Brown, Thomas Brown, III, and Ethan Brown. She was the dear sister of Vernon Crouse, Rose Wood, Vicky Wilson, Chuck Wilson, Tom Wilson, Mark Crouse and the late Hillery Crouse. She is also survived by her mother, Ruby Crouse.

Ms. Taylor enjoyed dancing and puzzle-books. She loved taking care of her family.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, from 11 AM until 1 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 1 PM. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
