It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven William Foust, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this world on May 18, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on April 23, 1948, in Towson, Maryland, Steven lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and dedication, primarily in the charming town of Havre de Grace, where he found solace by the water's edge.
Steven was a proud member of the Joseph L. Davis Post 47 American Legion Auxiliary, where he held dear the camaraderie and service that came with membership. His passion for life extended into his hobbies; he found immense joy in woodworking and gardening, creating beautiful pieces and cultivating nature around him.
Steven is survived by his brother, Harry Foust (Mary); his nieces Amanda, Alison, and Andrea Foust; his nephew Brad Foust; and his sister-in-law, Georgia Peters. Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Peters, his father, William Foust, and step-brother, Skip Peters.
A funeral service will be held in Steven's honor on May 23, 2025, at 11:00 am at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. Prior to the service, there will be a public viewing from 10:00 am. The family invites all who knew and loved Steven to join them as they commemorate a life well-lived and celebrate the lasting impact he leaves behind.
In this time of sorrow, we remember Steven not with sadness but with gratitude for the moments shared and the love he imparted to those fortunate enough to know him. He will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered in our hearts.
