Steven G. Stanley, born on March 10, 1961, in West Jefferson, NC, passed away on September 25, 2024.

Steven was a devoted husband to MaryAnn Baldwin and a cherished father to Crystal Rozek, Amber Stanley, and Tommy Stanley. He took great joy in being a grandfather to Jamie, Tristan, Chase, James, Brian, Jacob, Tykeem, Ge'onna, and Callee, great-grandfather of Reese, and brother of Michael Stanley (Carmen McKenna), and Sherry Kohlbus McGonigal.

Steven was a dedicated carpenter in the construction industry, where he honed his skills and left his mark. Throughout his life, Steven found solace in farming on the family farm, tending to his garden, and cultivating beautiful flowers. His love for his family knew no bounds, and he was known for his unwavering devotion to his loved ones.

A public viewing will be held at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., on October 3, 2024, at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Pastor Donnie Smith will officiate. The poignant ceremony will provide a space for family and friends to honor Steven's memory and celebrate his life.

It is evident that Steven left a lasting impact on those around him, and his memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents Basil Stanley and Helen Stanley, daughter, Amy Baldwin, and brother, Robert Kohlbus.
