Susie B. Gaumer, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on November 10, 2023. She was 89 years old.

Mrs. Gaumer was born in Baltimore City, MD, to Edgar Williams and Lyda Blanche Paige Williams. She was the loving mother of Stanley Gaumer (Janice), Pam DiBerardino (Mark), and Kelli J. Hires (Carl Edwin Cole), and the late Thomas Gaumer, grandmother of Alan Gaumer (Erin), Dusty Gaumer, Amanda Adkins, Shanna Anzelc, Alexis Adkins, Raymond Gaumer, and S. Eric Hires, and great-grandmother of several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings Betty Lou Mundy, Frances Verill, and John Williams, and her husband Stanford L. Gaumer.

Mrs. Gaumer was strong in her Christian Faith. She attained her RN from Sinai School of Nursing and was devoted to Sinai for over 40 years. She also attained her Bachelor's of Science degree in Computers from University of Baltimore. After retirement, she worked with children for many years in daycare, which she loved.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 11 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
