Suzanne Marie Suit, a devoted homemaker whose faith and artistic flair illuminated the lives of those around her, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on October 29, 2024. Born on August 11, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the late Melvin Hansen and Sylvia (Burns). She was lovingly raised by Sylvia and the late Richard Fanning. Suzanne's kind spirit and unwavering Catholic faith guided her through a life dedicated to serving her loved ones and community.
Family was Suzanne's greatest joy, predeceased by her loving husband Edward John Suit, she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her cherished children - Margaret Ann Suit, Mary Beth Suit-Jones (Kenneth), Katherine Louise Bittner (the late Richard Bittner), and John Michael Suit (Elizabeth) - as well as her adored grandchildren, Kenny and Keeley Jones and Addison and Joshua Suit. Suzanne also leaves behind her beloved brother, Robert "Bob" Feigel (Anne), who held a special place in her heart.
Throughout her life, Suzanne's artistic talent shone brightly, with her passion for drawing bringing joy to all who saw her creations. At the age of 12, she embraced Catholicism and stayed true to her faith, serving as a dedicated CCD teacher and always upholding the Catholic standards she held dear.
In celebration of Suzanne's remarkable life, a Funeral Service will be held at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. on November 5, 2024, at 11:00 am. Prior to the service, a private viewing will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 am, allowing family and those who loved Suzanne to pay their respects.
Suzanne Marie Suit's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, faith, and creativity. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her family and the legacy she leaves behind.
