Thelma Baker Chatham


Thelma Baker Chatham passed away peacefully on May 26, 2010 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. She was 87.

Ms. Chatham was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Larry and Georgianna Mae (Parsons) Baker. She was the devoted mother to Larry R. Chatham and his wife Linda of Lewes, DE, Jerry R. Chatham and his wife Judee and Janice A. Scheibler and her husband Samuel. She was the loving grandmother to Lori R. Chatham of Havre de Grace, MD, Stacey Leonardo and her husband Jarrod of New London, CT and Jill Scheibler and her husband Timothy Castlin of Baltimore, MD. She was the great grandmother to Elise and Holden Leonardo of New London, CT. She was survived by her sister Lorraine Baker Lindsey of Oxford, PA.

Ms. Chatham was retired from the Office of Personnel at the Aberdeen Proving Ground as a Staffing Specialist. She was a member of Havre de Grace United Methodist Church and the Young at Heart in Havre de Grace, MD. She enjoyed bowling and knitting. She truly loved to shop.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 12 P.M. also at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A.

Interment will be Angel Hill Cemetery, Havre de Grace, MD

Officiating will be Pastor Brenda Fox
