Thelma Ann Travers



Thelma Ann Travers, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. She was 72.
She was born in Baltimore, MD, to the late Willis Sharp Cannon and Erma Elizabeth Francis Cannon.
She was the wife of the late Lee Clayton Travers, Sr. She was the loving mother of Lee Clayton Travers, Jr., of Havre de Grace, MD, Gordon Wayne Travers of Aberdeen, MD, Wesley Willis Travers and his wife Carole of Havre de Grace, MD, Connie Lynnette Cage of Aberdeen, MD, and Carol Jeanne Hensley of Perryman, MD. She was survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Rachael Tudor. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, John Cage, and a grandson, Brian Travers, one brother and one sister.
Mrs. Travers was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events and cheering them on.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Dr. Bob Clipp will officiate.
