Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Michael "Mike" Knight, beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, who left this world on November 27, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on January 25, 1949, in Havre De Grace, MD, Mike lived a life rich in love and service to others.

Mike dedicated many years of his life working in various roles, beginning with his parents at Level Garage and continuing at Wiley's Shipyard and the State Highway Administration. His final employment was as a School Bus Driver, where he touched the lives of countless children and their families with his kindness and dedication.

A proud Life Member of the Level Volunteer Fire Department, Mike exemplified a spirit of community service that will be dearly missed. He found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was playing horseshoes with friends, enjoying a cold Coors Light, or spending time tinkering and mashing cans for recycling. Above all, he cherished his family, especially his nieces and nephews, who brought him immense joy and pride.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, June Knight, and his dear sister, Janie Seiler, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Mike was preceded in death by his father John Robert "Bob" Knight, his mother, Grace McGreevy Knight, and his siblings, Ralph Oliver Knight, Helen "Patsy" Roope, and John Robert Knight, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Thomas's life during a funeral service to be held at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. on December 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Prior to the service, there will be a public viewing from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location, allowing everyone who knew and loved him to come together in remembrance and tribute.

As we say our final goodbyes to Thomas Michael Knight, we remember him not just for his many accomplishments, but for the warmth he brought to our lives, the laughter he shared, and the love that will forever endure in our hearts.
