Valerie Norment Dinsmore, affectionately known as Valerie to her loved ones, lived a life filled with joy and passion, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her, passed away on September 19, 2024 at the University of MD Upper Chesapeake Health at Aberdeen. She was the devoted wife of the late Billy G. Dinsmore. Born on October 11, 1946, in Hagerstown, MD, to the late Richard B. and Marjorie K. (Jones) Norment. Valerie was dedicated to her career as a Medical Office Manager in the medical industry, showcasing her unwavering commitment to helping others.
With a love for card games like Bridge, Rumi, and her trusty Hungry Shark games, Valerie always found joy in sharing these activities with friends and family. A devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, she cheered them on during every game, showcasing her unwavering support for her favorite teams.
Valerie also embraced adventure through her participation in car rallies, enjoying the thrill of the open road and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. Her altruistic spirit shone through her volunteer work and membership at the Havre de Grace Elks Lodge #1564, where she dedicated her time to serving her community and making a positive difference.
Valerie is survived by her sons Jeffrey S. Dinsmore (Ellen), David M. Dinsmore, and Bill K. Dinsmore, as well as her sister Penelope Brown, brothers Rick and Tony Norment, and sister-in-law Sandra Shell (Douglas). She was predeceased by her late sister-in-law Betty Vann. Her love, kindness, and unwavering support have forever enriched their lives.
