Vernus Joyce Todd, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on March 22, 2021. She was 97.

Ms. Todd was born in Wilsonville, OR to George Henry Todd and Goldie Seely Todd. She was the devoted mother of Luanne A. Schweers and Joyce E. Carr of Havre de Grace, MD, loving grandmother of Amber Voelker (Rick), Brandy Graziosi (Justin), Travis Fayer, Larra Schweers, Ashley Gamatoria (Joe), Coale Fayer, great grandmother of 9 and great-great-grandmother of 2. She was the sister of the late Vernon Todd, Fern Todd, and Byrl Lucy Todd-Moore. She was also survived by her life-long friend from grade school, Margie M. Beaudoin.

Ms. Todd was an Elementary School Teacher of 40 years. She retired from Harford County Public Schools, Meadowvale Elementary School, in 1987. Ms. Todd was a member of the Havre de Grace Chapter 27 Order of the Eastern Star, Camp Fire Girls, and served as the President of the Association of Women Students while attending the Oregon College of Education. Her hobbies included sewing, crochet, reading and travel.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD.
