Virginia Frances "Polly" Lawder, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on August 30, 2013. She was 88.
Mrs. Lawder was born in Rennick, West Virginia, to the late Eric Isaac Walton and Myrtle Rigsby Walton. She was the devoted wife of the late Murray Bauer Lawder, Sr., loving mother of Murray Bauer Lawder, Jr., and his wife Margaret of Havre de Grace, MD.
Mrs. Lawder was a life member of the Havre de Grace ELKS Lodge. Her main passion in life was taking care of her family. She also loved to cook.

She is survived by grandchildren William Bauer Lawder, Sr., and his wife Diane of Havre de Grace, MD, and Paul Eugene Lawder and his wife Natasha of Street, MD, and great-grandchildren of William Bauer Lawder, Jr., Gage Tyler Lawder, and Wyatt Ian Lawder. She was predeceased by her siblings.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013, at the funeral home. Father William J. O'Brien will officiate. Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery.
