Warren "Buddy" Harding Thompson, Jr., of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on February 18, 2022. He was 77.

Mr. Thompson was born in Aberdeen, MD, to Warren Harding Thompson, Sr., and Dorothy Nye Thompson. He was the devoted husband of the late Victoria Thompson, loving father of Warren Jeffery Thompson (Deborah Lee), Robert Eugene "Bobby" Thompson (Cara), and Melissa "Missi" Cullum. He was the grandfather of Ryan, Amber, Megan, Kevin, Trevor, Olivia, and Carol Thompson, great-grandfather of Marcus Hancock, Ashton Matthews, Colton Thompson and Elsie Thompson, and brother of Robert Thompson and William "Billy" Thompson.

Mr. Thompson retired from General Motors. At times when the plant would shut down to switch models, he worked as a commercial fisherman. He was a member of the American Legion Post 47 and was a member and Past Exalted Ruler of the Havre de Grace ELKS Lodge. He enjoyed working on the water, fishing, and crabbing. He also enjoyed woodworking and crafts.
