Obituary
Wayne Austin Bowie, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on February 17, 2022.
He was 79. Mr. Bowie was born in LaPlata, MD, to Thomas E. Bowie and Thelma Mattingly Bowie. He was the loving companion of Donna Bauer-Goodnow, loving father of Wayne Bowie, Jr., Christopher Bowie, David Bowie, and the late Pamela Cordrey. Mr. Bowie is survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his sister, Donna Corcoran.
Mr. Bowie was a self-employed General Contractor. He was an avid sports fan and cheered for the Redskins and the Ravens. He loved to work and loved life. His favorite past-time was being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date.
