Mr. Johnny retired after many years working as a Heavy Equipment Operator for various companies, such as Pabst Blue Ribbon, BATA shoe company and the Arundel Quarry. He spent more than 30 years traveling around the local area, as well as the state with his band "Johnny Dry and The Country Tones," where he not only sang but played the guitar. He loved listening to "Old country music," he would often say today's country music was not country. Johnny loved listening to Merle Haggard, Porter Wagoner, Johnny Cash, George Jones and Hank Williams, Jr. You would often find his television tuned in watching Classic TV Westerns or Old TV shows. Mr. Johnny had the best sense of humor and was always ready to deliver a joke. He was a member of the Bay City Ministries and the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church. He often played his guitar in church. Johnny loved his family and spending time with them.
