William Floyd Windle, Jr., a beloved soul who found joy in music, the great outdoors, and beautifying the landscapes around him, has left this earthly home on June 16, 2024, in Rising Sun, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, to the late William F. Windle, Sr. and Annie Marie (Goad) Windle. William shared his passion for playing the guitar, singing, and the serenity of nature with all those blessed to know him.
His legacy lives on through his family - his son, William Windle III, his grandchild Quentin Bucklew, and his dear sisters Teresa Irwin, Linda Woodie, and the late Nancy Taylor and his brother Terry Windle. William's zest for life and love for the outdoors sparked a deep connection to his work as a landscaper, where he found solace in transforming spaces into tranquil sanctuaries.
In remembrance of his life, a celebratory funeral service will be held to honor William's memory at a later date. Friends and family are invited to join in commemorating his life and sharing tales of his profound love for music, the open air, and the simple pleasures of life at www.zellmanfuneralhome.com
