William "Duke" Roland Ward, a beloved husband, brother, and esteemed professional in the field of electrical engineering, passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born on July 13, 1947, in Havre de Grace, Maryland. A master's degree holder in the field of Electrical Engineering, William dedicated his career to innovation and excellence, working diligently at Schneider Electric.

William, affectionately known as Duke, was not only a skilled engineer but also a man of many talents and interests. Survived by his loving wife Anne Ward, sister the late Madonna Ward Moore, cherished niece Karen Steelman, nephew William Steelman, and niece Jacqueline Furst, William leaves behind a legacy of dedication, passion, and kindness.

A celebration of William's life will be held in the coming days to honor his memory and contributions to both his family and the community.

May William Roland Ward, known to many as Duke, rest in peace, his spirit living on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
