William Milford Whyte


William Milford Whyte, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 4, 2012. He was 82.

He was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to the late William John Whyte and Edna Carlisle Whyte.

He was the devoted father to William Milford Whyte, Jr., and his wife Rosemarie Michael Whyte of Havre de Grace, MD, Malcolm Eugene Whyte and his wife, Maria Theresa Whyte of Jarrettsville, MD, and Vivian Yvonne Overstreet and her husband Rick Lee Overstreet of Havre de Grace, MD.
He was the adored grandfather of Randall Lee Overstreet, Gina Marie Overstreet,
William Milford Whyte, III, Justina Anne Whyte, Ryan Lee Overstreet, and Anna Maria
Whyte. He was the great-grandfather of Jackson Meehan Bird and Cole Alexander
Overstreet. Mr. Whyte was the uncle of Ferrell Foy, Timothy Foy and Sally Wallace.
Mr. Whyte was the husband of the late Evelyn Eugenia Whyte and the former husband
of Patricia J. Whyte. He was predeceased by his sister, Aderina Mae Foy.

Mr. Whyte enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting deer, turkeys, and waterfowl. He also enjoyed gardening.

A viewing will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 6-9 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home,
P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.

Funeral services will be held
on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM, at Weslyan Chapel United Methodist Church,
409 North Paradise Road, Aberdeen, MD 21001. Pastor Corey Sharpe will officiate.
interment will be held at the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Jobes, Casey Jobes, Randall Overstreet, Timmy Foy, Ryan
Overstreet, and William Milford Whyte, III.
