Wilmer L. Hines of Edgewood, MD passed away surrounded by the love of his family on April 24, 2021. He was 80 years old and the devoted husband of Helen R. Hines.
Born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Wilmer Bunting Hines and Blanche G Evans.
He was the father of two sons and four daughters. He was predeceased by a daughter and a brother. He is survived by his sister.
Mr. Hines worked at Harford Systems in manufacturing and welding for many years. He enjoyed watching horse racing, being outdoors and waterfowl hunting. He loved listening to gospel music.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 1 P.M. at the Wesleyan Chapel United Methodist Church, 409 N. Paradise Road, Aberdeen, MD, 21001. Interment will be immediately following services at the Wesleyan Chapel Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Lynne Humphries-Russ.
