Obituary for Ruth Imogene Gray
Ruth Imogene Gray, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014. She was 85.
She was born in West Virginia to Samuel T. Price and Lecta Price. She was the wife of the late Randle Gray. She was the loving mother of Linda Bratton and her husband Jeff, Donna May and her husband Randy, Kelly Krejci and her husband Scott, and the late Shirley “Buzzy” Gray. She was the adored grandmother of Randy Wilson, Mark Gray, Curtis Gray, Mandi Billings, Lindsey Griffith, Leah Krejci, Kylie Krejci, Jason Krejci, and the late Monica Simmons. She had 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Dennis Price, Wilma Brower, Delores Nesselrotte, Ida Thompson, and the late Darius Price, Franklin Price, Loraine Brown, Claudine Osborne, Betty Collins, and Virginia Blake. She was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Brenda Gray.
Mrs. Gray was a member of Pleasantview Baptist Church, and often helped with the funeral community food service.
A viewing will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 6-9 PM, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 150 Downin Lane, Port Deposit, MD. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Pleasantview Baptist Church. Pastor Harold Phillips will officiate.
