Dear Peggy, Cindy, and Brian, Words cannot even begin to express how heartbroken I am to hear of Bruce's passing. I think back to the first time I met Bruce - although I don't remember for sure, it had to be at least 15 years ago around Christmas. There we were at Cindy's house in State College, playing Risk - one of the first of many games we enjoyed playing together - and Jen's dice fell off the table. I will never forget how serious he was about her keeping those dice on the table if she wanted her rolls to count. She thought he was joking, but alas he wasn't - made us all laugh that night and just about every other time we got together to play games! But that certainly started a tradition for us. I always looked forward to a game night every year at Christmas from that point forward, and a few more spring and summer game nights along the way as well. There were the annual rum balls for Jen, and we even shared a deep-fried Christmas turkey one year as well. Even though I'll still look forward to game nights each Christmas, I'll miss Bruce's quiet demeanor, his subtle yet witty sense of humor, and yes even his grilling and baking prowess greatly. I'll think of him every time I flip a card, roll a die, or lay down a domino and will miss him dearly. Please know that Jen and I are thinking of all of you and hugging you from afar; we look forward to getting together soon and raising a glass of good wine in his honor. If there is anything you need in the meantime, please don't hesitate to call. Take care, Bill (and Jen)
