The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jean Spudis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Mrs. Spudis

I have known Jean Spudis for 50 years. My sister dated her son, Ronnie, and we were also great friends. She was more than heartbroken when he was killed in Vietnam. Her husband Al was a very nice, interesting guy. When my sister passed away from cancer, also at a young age, Jean kindly offered to have her buried next to Ronnie. There wasn't a time that I would see her on the street or in my restaurant that she would lite up when we met. She was a very kind, religous, quiet lady. I will miss seeing her little gold Buick meandering slowly through town on her way to St. Patrick's.
