Obituary for Richard Angel Garcia

Richard Angel Garcia, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on February 21, 2015. He was 57.
He was born in San Antonio, TX, to Dionicio Garcia of San Antonio, TX, and Grace Briones Garcia of Los Angeles, CA.
Mr. Garcia was the devoted husband of 28 years to Deborah Jo Garcia née Amato. He was the loving father of Jonathan Joseph Garcia of Street, MD, Margarita Anita Garcia Herrera and her husband Sergio, of Victorville, CA, Jessica Grace Garcia and Elizabeth Esther Garcia of Baltimore, MD, and Destiny Noelle Garcia of Havre de Grace, MD. He was the adored grandfather of Ian Alexander Herrera, Vincent Keith-Moon Herrera, Robert Quintero and Savannah Quintero. He was the dear brother of Eddie Adam Garcia, David Alexander Garcia, and Robert Allen Garcia, of Los Angeles, CA, and the late Jonathan Anthony Garcia.
Mr. Garcia was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Havre de Grace, where he served on the Prayer Ministry. He was active with Alcoholic's Anonymous for 32 years. He was active with C.R.A.V.E. Ministries through Restore Church. He also loved to read and loved music.
a viewing will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at First Baptist Church, 108 South Stokes Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Pastor Ron Smith will officiate. Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery.
