Obituary for Betty May Parker

Betty May Parker, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 30, 2015. She was 84.
Mrs. Parker was born in Chrome, PA, to Carey Cloud Pollock and Sara Rice Pollock. She was the devoted wife of the late Burton M. Parker, Jr., loving mother of Kimberly Parker-Thomas and her husband James Ray Thomas, Jr., of Ozark, Alabama, adored grandmother of Phillip Dane Cooper, Sr., Timothy Joseph Cooper, Jennifer Laken Tran- Thomasino, Brittany Adrienna Tran, and Amber Morgan, and great-grand mother of Phillip “P.J.” Dane Cooper, Jr., Kimberlynn Jane Tran, Camden Parker Cooper, Ayden Burton Cooper, Roman Louis Thomasino, and Edelyn Bodilla. Mrs. Parker was predeceased by 7 siblings.
Mrs. Parker worked as a telephone operator. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and word searches.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip Cooper, Sr., Timothy Cooper, James Thomas, Jr., Gary Morgan, Kem Cooper, and Phillip “P.J.” Cooper, Jr. The Rev. Dr. John Richardson will officiate.
