Obituary for Nolan Winfield Gallion III

Nolan Winfield Gallion, III, of Churchville, MD, passed away on January 25, 2015. He was 24.
Mr. Gallion was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Nolan Gallion, Jr., and Sandra Stine Gallion of Churchville, MD. He was the loving brother of Michelle Gallion and her fiancé John Williamson, and Stephanie Gallion and her boyfriend, Martin Clayton Jackson, III of Churchville, MD. He was the grandson of Nolan Gallion, Sr., and his partner, Rev. Lonna Smith, Margrete and Harry Stine, and was predeceased by his grandmother Charlotte Gallion. He is also survived and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Gallion was a 2008 graduate of Havre de Grace High School. He worked for Gallion Farm and Lawn. He was a member of Susquehanna Hose Company, and previous member of Level Volunteer Fire Dept. He enjoyed hunting and helping on the farm. He also enjoyed playing for North Bay Rugby. He attended Churchville Presbyterian Church.
A viewing will be held for Mr. Gallion on Thursday, January 29, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-9 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at Churchville Presbyterian Church, 2844 Churchville Road, Churchville, MD 21028. Pastor Stephen Melton will officiate. Interment will be held at Churchville Presbyterian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Gallion, Timothy Sturgill, Marty Krajewski, Mitchell Cockerham, Christopher Stine and Clinton Polk. Honorary Pallbearers will be Christian Cockerham, Andrew Deckard, Josh Deckard, and Kyle Cockerham.
Contributions may be made in his memory to Churchville Presbyterian Church, 2844 Churchville Road, Churchville, MD 21028.
