Anna Marie Wantz


Anna Marie Wantz, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on January 3, 2012 at Dacota Broad Creek Assisted Living in Whiteford, MD. She was 92.

Mrs. Wantz was born in Philadelphia, PA to the Late Charles and Edna (Finley) Zenone. She was the loving wife of the Late Franklin D. Wantz.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Peggy Creel. She was the grandmother to Ginger Sampson and her husband Greg; and Paula Creel. She was the great-grandmother to Ethan and Grace Sampson. She was predeceased by her son-in-law the late Mark F. Creel.

Mrs. Wantz was a member of the Homemakers Club in Millersville, MD. She also was and Assistant Leader for the Girl Scout Daisies while her granddaughters participated. She was also one of the founding board members for the Anne Arundel County Fair.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012, from 5 PM until 8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland 21078.

A Graveside Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 10:00 AM at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075.
