Anthony W. Bernardi

Anthony W. Bernardi of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on December 26, 2009 at Harford Memorial Hospital. He was 60.
Mr. Bernardi was born in Havre de Grace to the Late Joseph T. and Alice F. (Stout) Bernardi.
He was the devoted brother of Nicholas T. Bernardi and his wife Lillian Irene Bernardi, Joseph M. Bernardi and his wife Carol, Ronald G. Bernardi, Frances Berret and her husband Hamer, Susan D. Greer and her husband Robert, a sister-in-law Clara Bernardi, a brother-in-law Pete Cassilly. He was predeceased by his brother, the Late Frank O. Bernardi, two sisters, the late Rachel Drolet and the late Joan P. Cassilly, and a brother-in-law Donald Drolet. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Anthony was a member of the American Legion Post # 47 and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He loved gardening, flowers and being outside. He served in the United States Army and served as a Military Policeman in Okinawa.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.
A service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11 AM at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD.
Interment will be Mt. Erin Cemetery in Havre de Grace, MD
Officiating will be Father David M. Carey. Pallbearers will be Franklin Drolet, Brandon Greer, Joedy Bernardi, Ronald Bernardi, II, Jamie Patterson, and Tony Forton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alex Firsow, Dale DiMauro, and Shawn Drolet.
