Obituary for Audrey Eva Boyd (Collins)

Audrey Eva Boyd (nee Collins) of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on December 20, 2016. She was 85.
Mrs. Collins was born in Queens, New York, to Arthur Collins and Mary Woods Collins. She was the wife of the late Walter Gillespie Boyd, Jr., loving mother of M. Lynn Boyd, of Havre de Grace, MD, Terry L. Boyd and his wife Sue, of North Las Vegas, NV, Philip Boyd of Ft. Myers, FL, and the late Thomas Boyd and James Boyd. Mrs. Boyd had six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Kenneth Collins, Lorraine Grell, and Margaret Cannizzaro.
Mrs. Boyd worked at the Seneca Avenue Daycare, and then had her own in-home daycare. She then worked at J. L. Clark and City Pharmacy. She was a member of First Christian Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed walking, reading, traveling, and playing the Slots.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016, from 6-8 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens.
