Bernard E. Mills, Sr.

Bernard E. Mills, Sr. of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away at Harford Memorial Hospital on March 3, 2011. He was 91.

Mr. Mills was born in Indiana and was the husband of the late Catherine R. Mills. He was the loving father to the late Bernard E. Mills, Jr. and his wife Karen Mills. He was the grandfather to Megan Mills and Shannon King. He was the great-grandfather to Alivia, James B., Byron and Donna Marshburn, Christian, Patrick and Alison King. Mr. Mills is survived by his brother Alfred H. Mills, Sr and his wife Nancy, and his sister-in-law Patricia Mills.

Mr. Mills had retired from the Aberdeen Proving Ground. He enjoyed building model boats and cars. He loved working on his word find puzzles. He was a member of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church and the Havre de Grace American Legion Post #47.

A memorial service will be private.
