Brenda Metta Myers


Brenda Metta Myers, of Perryville, MD, passed away on May 23, 2013. She was 70,

Mrs. Myers was born in Rugsby, VA to Joseph Bayne Plummer and Wilma Darrah Young Plummer. She was the loving wife of James William Myers for 43 years. She was the devoted mother of Sheila A. Waters and her husband Gregory, and Sondra L. Hoskins and her husband Timothy. She was the adored grandmother of Zachery E. Myers, Noah W. Gravely, Alexia M. Waters, William W. Tenney, Nicole R. Tenney, and Timothy B. Hoskins, Jr., and the great-grandmother of Jillian D. Tenney, Jacob A. Perry, and Kayden N. Hoskins. She is also survived by her siblings Richard Plummer and Barbara Farrington.

Mrs. Myers was a fan of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. She enjoyed baking. She loved taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Dr. Harold M. Phillips will officiate. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Gregory Waters, Christopher Parks, Brian Richardson, Joseph Richardson, William Tenney, and Christopher Snelling.
