The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bruce McKinney can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Bruce ---Brother

Well, I can not say I was happy when Bruce (about 8 at the time)  managed to acquire the chocolate cupcake I had saved for later.  As the years went by, we may not have seen each other often but he tolerated my golf when we were and always seemed amused about something.  He bought tribute champagne to my PhD graduation and always had an interesting wine selection for dinners.  When he met Peggy and I leanred she could "challenge" him on the golf course, that was a big deal.  She centered his life and fought fiercely for him when he got the cancer diagnosis and to the last day. I know they only had 19 years together but they had the opportunity to play many courses in the US, Hawaii  and Aruba(I was jealous!).  I've heard from may folks we knew all expressing how much they enjoyed his company---I'm sorry we had to say "goodbye" so early, I still was planning to play retirement golf with you!
