Obituary for C. Bruce "Bruce" Caudill

C. Bruce Caudill, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 29, 2016. He was 81. Mr. Caudill was born in Forest Hill, MD, to the late Ross Lee Caudill and Ethel Mae Fletcher Caudill, and was raised by Effa and Lewis Pyle. He was the devoted husband of 60 years to Betty A. DuBree Caudill, loving father of Alan B. Caudill and his wife, Denise; and Jeffrey B. Caudill and his wife, Bobbi, both of Havre de Grace, MD. He was the adored grandfather of Lauren Caudill, and uncle to devoted nephew Ross Lee Caudill of Baltimore . In addition to his sister Arlene Kline of Pa he was predeceased by two brothers Dale Lee Caudill and Gene R. Caudill of Bel Air, MD.

Mr. Caudill served in the U.S. Army. He worked at the Ballistics Research Lab at Aberdeen Proving Ground for 38 years. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and was a past member of Level Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed volunteering at Grace Place in Havre de Grace and working in his garden as well as always helping others.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM. Pastor Corey Sharpe will officiate. Interment will be held at Bel Air Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be made at www.zellmanfuneralhome.com.
