Obituary for Cecil C. Wettig

Cecil C.  Wettig
Cecil C. Wettig of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on December 2, 2015, at the Citizens Care Center. He was 76.

Mr. Wettig was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late William L. and Elma Augusta (Courtney) Wettig.

Cecil was the brother to William Wettig and his wife Mary and Dorothy Deweese. He was predeceased by his siblings Robert Wettig, Bay Wettig, Alyce Ruff and Delores Baldwin. He is survived by his brother-in-law Joseph Ruff. He had numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wettig had worked at the Bata Shoe Company until its closing. He had also worked and retired from the Cello Corporation as a fork lift operator. He was a member of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, where he was a volunteer. Additionally, he volunteered at Citizens Care Center and the Salvation Army. He enjoyed Havre de Grace, his visits with people and walks on the promenade. Mr. Wettig was a member of the Young at Heart Club.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, December 7, 2015

Officiating will be Pastor Norman Obenshain
