Charles W. Brooks

Charles W. Brooks of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on October 26, 2009 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. He was 60.

Mr. Brooks was born in Havre de Grace to Elmer and Virgie Ferguson of Havre de Grace, MD.

Mr. Brooks was a devoted father to Sandra L. Hartman and her husband Paul and Pamela S. Brooks and her fiancé Daniel L. Parker. He was the loving grandfather of Sabrina and Allison Thomas and Charles W. Brooks. He was a loving brother to Shirley Marsh and Mary Pelowski.

Mr. Brooks had retired from J.M. Huber. He was an avid waterman and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed volunteering in the community and at the Salvation Army. He had volunteered by taking a group of youth out on the water for a day of crabbing. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.

A service will be held on Saturday, October 31st at 10 AM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A. Interment will be at Darlington Cemetery in Darlington, MD.

Officiating will be Rev. Edward Heydt.
