Dolores J. Disbrow

Dolores J. Disbrow, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on May 6, 2013. She was 80.

Mrs. Disbrow was born in Elkins, West Virginia, to Paul and Helen Trahern. She was the devoted wife of 34 years to Jay V. Disbrow, Jr. She was the loving mother of Robert K. Taylor and his wife, Cindy, Karen S. Mills, Jay V. Disbrow, III, and Jerry L. Disbrow. She was the adored grandmother of Shannon King, Megan Mills, Dakota Taylor, and Spencer Taylor, and great-grandmother of Christian, Alison, and Patrick King, and Alivia, James, Byron, and Donna Marshburn. She is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Yingling and Carolyn Trahern.

Mrs. Disbrow retired from J. M. Huber Corporation. She was a member of Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, The Red Hat Society, and Young at Heart.

A service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, 101 South Union Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Pastor Norman Obenshain will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 8219 Town Center Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236-5904.
