Donald Bay Coulter, Jr.

Donald Bay Coulter, Jr., “Coach Bay”, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on May 21, 2013. He was 57.

He was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Donald Bay Coulter, Sr., and Helen Bernice McRoberts Coulter. Mr. Coulter was the devoted husband of Jennifer “Cheryl” Bratcher Coulter for 33 years. He was the loving father of Justin Lee Coulter of Aberdeen, MD, and Lindsey Michelle Nosari and her husband Joseph of Springfield, VA. He was the dear brother of Donna Rees and Renee Coulter, of Havre de Grace, MD, Denise Angelucci of Perryville, MD, Raymond Coulter of Annapolis and the late Susan Lawson. Mr. Coulter served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1974-1978, and was a member of the American Legion Post 128. He loved fishing and hunting, NASCAR, and football. He was a Ravens fan. Mr. Coulter was the head coach for 16 years of the Aberdeen Bulldogs Parks and Recreation Football Team, and won a National Championship with them.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 10 AM until 1:00 PM at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM. Rev. George McRoberts will officiate. Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Amos Bratcher, Jr., Christopher Bratcher, Matthew Williams, Bradley Pittam, Colby Walker, Curtis Deiring, Jr., and Travis Budnick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ALS Association, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855.
