Obituary for Dr. Paul Grant

Dr. Paul  Grant
Dr. Paul L. Grant passed away at home on March 1, 2015. He was 74. He was the beloved husband of the late Sally Ann Grant.

Dr. Grant was born in Baltimore, MD, He was the son of George “Bud” and Mary Myers. He was the loving father to Paul Douglas Grant and his wife Lisa, Andrew Lee Grant and his wife Jennifer and Cindy Denise Grant. He was the adoring grandfather to Carson Grant, Logan Grant, Cameron Grant, Isabella Grant and Emme Grant. He was predeceased by his brother Morris Grant.

Dr. Grant served as a minister to many congregations including Camp Chapel United Methodist, Grace United Methodist, Fork United Methodist, Darlington United Methodist and Dublin United Methodist Church. He was also a Retired Colonel of the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge # 116 in Towson, MD, and was also a Shriner. He was a former member of the Havre de Grace and Aberdeen Lions Club and was now serving the Oak Crest Lions Club. He was a member of the Kingsville Fire Department and the Darlington Fire Department. He enjoyed traveling and history. He was an avid fan of the Orioles and Ravens.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church, 110 W. Bel Air Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21001.

Officiating will be Dr. Jim Ditto and Dr. Bob Clipp.

Interment will be held at Baker Cemetery

Friends and Family may make contributions in his memory to the Grace United Methodist Church, 110 W. Bel Air Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21001, or Camp Chapel United Methodist Church, 5000 East Joppa Road, Perry Hall, MD 21128.
