Edith Anna VanWert Horton Levey of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on July 9, 2014 surrounded by the love of her family. She was 77.

She was born in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Cottie and Ruth (Railey) Horton.

Mrs. Levey is survived by her husband of 55 years Russell Levey. She was the loving mother of Jacqueline Jennings and her husband John, Charles Levey and his wife Gina, Monica Floyd and Marc Levey and his wife Adrienne. She was the devoted grandmother of Lisa Ehrets and her husband Jeff, Steven Davidson and his wife Amy, Justina Levey, Jacob Levey, Chase Levey, Elizabeth Levey and Kathryn Levey. She was the great-grandmother of Braden and Benjamin Ehrets and Steven Davidson, III. Edith is survived by her sisters Charlotte Racey, Dorothy Thayer, Clara Warden, Ruth Patton and Wilma Williams. She was predeceased by her three sisters.

Mrs. Levey was a member of the American Legion Post #47 and the VFW Post #8126. She enjoyed cooking, baking and her animals. She was a true Maryland girl who loved her Old Bay and Crabs. She was an avid Ravens fan.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 3 to 6 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Where a Funeral will be held at 6 PM.
