Obituary for Helen L. Leydecker (Craig)

Helen Louise Leydecker, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on April 20, 2016. She was 93.
Ms. Leydecker was born in Earleville, MD, to Ernest Craig and Mary Wooleyhan Craig. She was the loving mother of Philip L. Leydecker, III, and his wife Lynn, of Delta, PA; Denise Lambert of Perry Hall, MD; Chuck Leydecker and his wife Sharon of Havre de Grace, MD; and Deborah Schuchart and her husband Gary of Middle River, MD. She was the adored grandmother of Scott Leydecker, Mark Leydecker, Jill Schuchart, and Craig Schuchart. She was predeceased by her siblings.
Ms. Leydecker graduated from George Biddle High School in Cecilton, MD. She worked, until retiremnt for C&P Telephone Company and was a C&P Telephone Pioneer. She was an avid Orioles fan, and loved being outside working in her yard. Her life revolved around being with her grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM. Frank McFadden will officiate.
