Helen A. Brooke

Helen A. Brooke of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on May 11, 2012 at the Citizens Care Center. She was 89. She was the loving wife of the late Eugene Calvin Brooke.

Mrs. Brooke was born in Eldora, Iowa to the late Dallas and Maude (Arnold) Mathews. She was the loving mother of Donald Brooke and his wife Theresa, and the late Ronald Brooke. She was survived by her Daughter-in-Law Diane Brooke. Mrs. Brooke was the adoring Grandmother of Steven Brooke, Shawn Brooke, Renee Brooke and Bobby Brooke. She was the Great-Grandmother of two. Mrs. Brooke was predeceased by her brothers and sisters; George Mathews, Oscar Mathews, Louis Mathews, Wilbur Mathews, Harold Mathews, Leslie Mathews, Donald Mathews, Gladys Mathews and Ruth Tabor. She is survived by her Sister-in-Law, Evelyn Mathews and preceaded in death by her brother-in-law Joe Tabor.

Mrs. Brooke was a member of the Ladies Auxillary Elks Lodge in Carmichael, CA and Tavern Owners Association in Sacramento, CA. She enjoyed gardening and being with her family.
