James Finegan
James Finegan, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on November 8, 2010. He was 75.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late James and Alice Finegan. He was the devoted husband of 45 years to Christina Finegan. He was the loving father to James Finegan of Havre de Grace, MD, and Antionette Finegan- Bell and her husband Brian J. Bell of Aberdeen, MD. He was the adored grandfather of Madison Christine Bell of Aberdeen, MD.
Mr. Finegan served for 10 years in the U.S. Navy. He then worked as a police officer for the Toll Facilites at the Hatem Bridge.
Mr. Finegan was a member of the Elks Lodge in Havre de Grace, as well as St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed bowling and golf. He also loved entertaining, karaoke, and was a fan of Barry White.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 12, from 7-9 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, November 13, at 11:00 AM, at the Church of St. Patrick, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD. Father William J. O’ Brien will officiate.
