The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Jolley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

As an impressionable young first LT I had the privilege of serving under Jack. A great Soldier, leader and human being Jack in my eyes personified what a good leader needed to be. Charismatic, funny, but tough when he needed to be Jack was a great inspiration and sterling example to those of us so privileged to have served with him. A great man has gone to his reward. I can hear him saying "if you're reading this I'm playing golf in heaven...." That was Jack. Donna, Mar and I offer our most heartfelt condolences you and the entire Jolley family. May the many, many wonderfully fond memories of Jack assuage the anguish you are feeling at this sad time. Know you and Jack are in our prayers. Personally I'll look forward to seeing him on the other side.....we tell lies about our time at Aberdeen and raise a pint or two! God Bless you and Jack as He welcomes a great man and Soldier into heaven...with a good tee time!
