My condolences to the family. I enjoyed working with John at Harford Memorial Hospital, back in the late 1970 to mid 1980 time frame. I also rode and drove ambulance calls with him around the same time. John was a wonderful person and I don't think I ever saw him without a huge smile. I am very sad at his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest In Peace John!

John or JJ as we called him at Perry Point was such a special man who was a friend to all. I have known John for many years. About 5 years after I met him I was involved in a serious head on collision and was out of work about 6 months. I was a utterly shocked when John gave me 2 months of leave to cover part of my absence. When I found out I immediately called him. He just laughed that unique laugh of his and said Don’t worry about it. You need it more than I do. Just buy me an ice cream when you feel better. But that was the type of friend and person he was to everyone. He is loved by many and will be deeply missed. I wish my sincere condolences to his loving family. May you be comforted to know what a fantastic man and compassionate soul he had. Rest In Peace my friend and God bless.
