Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Mogan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

John

I've been trying to get in touch with John for some time now as we were good friends in the army. We were stationed to gather several times. Augsburg Germany where we reinlisted to together in I believe in 1966. We traveled to Spain on leave the following year. John was older than me but we became running buddies. He was the sergeant major at Aberdeen proving grounds at school Belgrade. He got me the job I wanted at the turret branch. I wish I could've found homeowner. I knew he lived near the base and he had property in Florida. I wish his family well and may he rest in peace. He's in God's hands and he will take good care of him. I know this is a long story but believe me, I could go on for hours about my hero John. I'll dig through my photos and post some pictures. On closing I'd like to say a quote from my uncle who was in the 101 airborne division. Old soldiers never die, they just fade away.
