Obituary for Judy Carolyn Liberatore

Judy Carolyn Liberatore



Judy Carolyn Liberatore of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on March 6, 2010. She was 63.

She was born in Cumberland, Maryland to Harry and Rachel Leasure of Boonsboro, Maryland.

She graduated from Boonsboro High School in 1964, and then attended the University of Maryland. She retired from J.M. Huber Corporation in Havre de Grace, MD.

She was the loving wife of 15 years to Joseph S. Liberatore, Jr. She was the devoted mother of William H. Murphy, IV and his wife Katie of Street, MD, John R. Murphy of Baltimore, MD, Patty Murphy and Steve Tresnak, Denise Glassman and her husband Matt of Rising Sun, MD and Keri Meehan and her husband Tony of Havre de Grace, MD. She was the adored grandmother of Jack, Sam & Jonah Murphy, Cheyenne & Josiah Murphy, Katelyn & Kelsey Glassman and Zachary and Ethan Meehan. She was the loving sister of Richard “Dickie” Leasure and his wife Eleanor of Cumberland, Maryland.

Mommom loved being with her grand babies and spoiling them rotten. She enjoyed sharing her morning coffee with her husband everyday. She enjoyed baking and cake decorating and would welcome anyone in her home with open arms.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 11, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12, at 11:00 am at Mountain Christian Church: Cook Auditorium, 1824 Mountain Road, Joppa, Maryland 21085. Pastor Jeff Owens will officiate. Interment will be held at Darlington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William H. Murphy, IV, John R. Murphy, Anthony Meehan, William Frick, Chuck Long and Donald Conley.
