The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lassie Weddle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Aunt Lassie left me with many fond memories of the times she and R. L. would visit granny. In late afternoon, we would walk down the road and enjoyed playing in the creek. This picture that you shared is like I remember her. She always had a warm smile and giggle that I will never forget! My dad mentioned years ago that after working in the fields that Aunt Lassie was so thirsty and she saw a "pop bottle" sitting nearby and she grabbed it and down the hatch the liquid went. It turned out that she drank gasoline instead of pop. So thankful it didn't hurt her. She was able to laugh about this incident saying she was running on "high test" now. Dad and mom always looked forward to the visits of " Little David" in the fall of the year as trees were turning. My deepest sympathy to each of you during your time of bereavement.
