The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Laural Green can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Rememberances

I remember  Mrs Green as a talented lady with a varied  number of skills, sewing, making flower arrangements, candles, decorating. She would visit shut ins. Loved her church and family. Mrs. Green was very kind to me while I lived in her home. She let me use her sewing machines and took me on trips with the family to the Green Mountains in Vermont to visit Miss Meigs, her parents in Indiana. They also traveled widely. There are many happy and pleasant memories from the seven years I spent with the family I felt so much a part of. I grew to love the family.Watched the childen grow up. I am sorry I did not know in time to attend her home going celebration. She was one of the dearest persons I knew. Mr. and Mrs. Green were two of the best people I ever knew and I will cherish the memories.
