Lois C. Barnhart

Lois C. Barnhart of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on July 22, 2011 in Arnold, MD. She was 89.

Mrs. Barnhart was born in Aberdeen, MD to the late Herbert and Catherine (Bayless) Burns. She was the loving wife of the late Weldon C. Barnhart.

She was the loving mother of Robert W. Barnhart and his wife Karen and Carolyn Choroszej and her husband Wayne. She was the devoted grandmother of Tricia Drewello, Kristen Tripodi, Robert Barnhart Jr. and Lisa Fleming and their spouses Chris, Emidio, Vickie, and Jason. She was the great-grandmother of Emily, Brian and Lauren Drewello, Gianna Tripodi and Josephine Barnhart. Mrs. Barnhart was the sister of Thomas Burns and Pauline Kay. She was predeceased by her brother Herbert Burns, Jr. and her sisters Doris Woodworth and Joan Purcell.

Mrs. Barnhart had worked as the secretary for the Livesy Lumber Company. She also worked and retired from the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Civil Service.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 from 3 to 7 P.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11 A.M. at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A.

Officiating will be Pastor Norman Obenshain.

Interment will be held at Angel Hill Cemetery.
